The doctorate is governed by theDecree of May 25, 2016 setting out the national framework for training and the procedures leading to the award of the national doctorate diploma.
Any student wishing to start a thesis at the School must first:
- find a subject,
- a thesis supervisor who agrees to supervise
- themfunding
To do a thesis in Economics, contact the AMSE or LEST laboratories
To do a thesis in Management contact CERGAM, LEST or CRET-LOGS
As this is your 1st PhD registration, you must log on to ADUM, the doctoral student management tool: select "Create an account" to create your profile.
Step 1
- The future doctoral student creates his or her profile on the ADUM interface, indicating a personal, permanent e-mail address as the main address, and activates his or her AMU address (etu.univ-amu.fr) as the secondary address.
- The thesis director, research unit director and doctoral school director receive an e-mail from ADUM inviting them to give their opinion on the doctoral registration application.
- Each thesis director is asked to write an opinion on the progress of his or her doctoral student's work in the comments section, before ticking off whether or not the opinion is favorable.
- After the ED has checked the application, the future doctoral student receives an e-mail informing him or her of the opinion given for registration:
- In the event of a favorable opinion, the future doctoral student receives a hypertext link to the ED web page, enabling him or her to continue the procedure.
As soon as you register with ADUM, you'll be able to:
- Take advantage of professional insertion services (job offers, CV publication, etc.),
- Display or not your profile on the Internet ("Personal account" > "Display configuration"),
- Participate in the development of the network of students and alumni of your doctoral school,
- Be informed by e-mail of all events organized for you,
- Register for training modules set up by the Doctoral School and the Doctoral College,
- Consult upcoming thesis defenses.
