Prix de thèse


Each year, Aix-Marseille Université awards a prize for the most exemplary theses defended by doctoral students enrolled at AMU.

Since 2021, the City of Marseille has awarded a prize for the best and most exemplary theses defended.

This year, as last year, the themes of the Prix de thèse de la Ville de Marseille are:
1. Social and democracy
2. Ecology and sustainable development
3. The Mediterranean
4. Life sciences and health
5. Sciences and advanced technologiesThe

AMU 2024 Thesis Prize and the City of Marseille 2024 Thesis Prize are open to theses defended between January 1 and December 31, 2023.

Application procedures:

  1. Complete applications must be submitted to the Doctoral School (ED) by Thursday May 30, to the following address: cindy.albinski@univ-amu.fr.
  2. They must include all the following documents (combined in a single file):
    o Application form (to be submitted in Word format)
    o Summary of the thesis
    o Pre- and defense reports
    o Publications relating to the thesis
    o Curriculum vitae of the doctor
    o Any other additional documents deemed useful for the evaluation of the application.
